swedish massage

Swedish massage is most commonly known for its ability to provide relaxation; however, it also boosts a whole range of other benefits which include:

deep tissue massage

Deep tissue massage is used to help manage conditions which cause chronic tension and pain. It breaks down the ‘knots’ that can disrupt circulation and cause pain and inflammation, and limit the range of motion. Deep tissue massage focuses on the deeper layers of the muscle tissue, tendons and fascia. Release is gained by working gradually into the deeper layers of the muscles, applying varying levels of pressure to affected areas, using thumbs, knuckles and elbows.   ​
Depending on the level of tension and how long the complaint has been there, times may vary for deep tissue massage. Below is a guideline only, this can be discussed on booking. ​

manual lymphatic drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic treatment that works just beneath the skin to support the lymphatic system. No oils are used for this treatment. This deeply relaxing technique helps remove excess fluids, and metabolic waste, offering a range of benefits, including:​

​pregnancy massage

Pregnancy massage can be beneficial for both mum and baby, not only can it help with relaxation but can alleviate back pain, fatigue and other aliments commonly related to pregnancy such as indigestion, morning sickness, heartburn, constipation and more. Pregnancy massage cannot take place during the first trimester. Prior to any booking a detailed consultation will be carried out.
